CLIENT LOVE…
About 8 years ago, I was in a really good fitness routine. Unfortunately, I let it all slip when I went back to work after my 3rd child.
When I started Fit My Day, my fitness baseline was really low, even bike riding with the kids up to the local park was an effort.
I am now 4 years in and I there are so many differences in many areas of my life. I have completed the Oxfam 100km event, trail runs, 10km races and more.
I have more energy on the days that I exercise then when I don’t, I sleep better, my posture has improved and above everything else, I am doing something just for me, which has a positive flow on to the rest of my week.
Thank you Angie!
In 2016, I started training with Fit My Day not long after life-saving brain surgery following the birth of my third child.
After years of struggling with fertility issues, pregnancies (and losses), my body was worse for wear and I felt ‘trapped’ in someone else’s skin.
I was extremely anxious about exercising again. Angie was recommended to me and she gave me confidence that I could trust my body again.
After several months, Angie convinced me to sign up for a challenge and I committed to my first 10K run in over a decade and I did it! I was so proud of myself.
There is no way I would have believed that I could do that as I lay recovering in intensive care earlier that year.
I would never have done this without the support of Angie - she is the most amazing trainer, coach and mentor.
I’ve been part of the Fit My Day community for 5 years now and love it! The people who attend each week are fantastic, as is Angie.
Whilst getting healthy and getting into shape we always have a lot of fun, enjoy ourselves and especially enjoy each other’s company.
Everyone is always so encouraging and there is always someone who is willing to help and stand alongside you in whatever that may be.....your fitness or health journey or just life!
I have made many great fiends from Fit My Day and I can honestly say that the camaraderie we all have is very special and getting healthy and fit is by no means a chore.
I am someone for whom exercise has never come easily and before I met Angie, I found any sort of exercise a bit of a chore.
However, once I started training with Angie, for the first time in my life I started to really enjoy exercising.
The variety of exercises that she puts into every training keeps me interested, I love her up beat and positive approach to life and I have made some lovely like minded friends inbetween sit ups and push ups!
Angie really gets to know her clients and thinks hard about what might motivate them to train and to enjoy training.
I would never have believed that I would write the words "enjoy" and "exercise" in the same sentence before I met Angie!
I absolutely love my time each week and expect to be doing it with the ‘gang’ until I am an old lady!!
I first met Angie it was 6 months after my husband had unexpectedly passed away. I was really struggling with grief, mothering, and my physical health at the time.
Angie has been a real member of my survival crew, which has been enriched even further by the truly wonderful friendships I have formed at Fit My Day.
I have gone from being someone who loathed exercise into it now being one of the parts of my week I look forward to the most.
With Angie’s support I signed up to participate with my daughter in the Blackmores Running Festival. We used this as a fundraising tribute for my husband and I was so proud of being able to run the entire distance. Something I had previously been unable to tackle due to my lack of fitness.
Being involved in Fit My Day with Angie’s support, has me feeling fitter, healthier, stronger, happier and more connected with my local community.
I am so grateful to be getting out there and making the most of life!
After a year of training at Angie's group based park sessions, I had reached my personal goal of losing 8kg and was feeling fitter and stronger than ever.
But I felt maintaining my overall health goals would be much easier if my husband Lincoln was also on board.
We opted to do a personal training session together once a week. Within no time, Lincoln was feeling much stronger and more confident and was ready to add an early morning group session to his schedule. He hasn't looked back since!
For those looking to make a lasting lifestyle change, I can really recommend the joint sessions. It's such a great way to spend time together as a couple, and the joint focus on shared health goals makes sticking to it at home so much easier.
And of-course Angie makes it all so fun and achievable...I can't recommend her highly enough.
